Felt the need to take pictures of my Eevees before Eevee day is done.
The one on the left speaks when I press 'em, it's a lot of fun. (Though if I leave them on and stop playing for a minute, they make a small sad noise. :neofox_sad_reach: )
The other day where I live I noticed a building made of tabby concrete, a type of concrete with broken oyster shells inside. Its surface was breaking, revealing the oysters incorporated in the matrix of the concrete. I've recreated it in Substance Designer and rendered it with Eevee Next. ...and we're done! A really fun kit that was super easy to build. I admit I'm a little disappointed in the limited poseability (the smaller Bandai Eevee has a lot more moveable joints), but the size and overall look of Eevee is really pleasing.

I'm using #blender for the first time in about 4 years (and used to just use it to cut out complex UV maps for video projection mapping), and wow, with the #eevee realtime rendering engine is a game changer. and the UI has become so much easier to navigate in this time. it's like if #touchdesigner and a #houdini reunited and became merged as one.

Eevee is feeling much better this week, though she's still not eating very well. She was playful yesterday to the point of getting in trouble, parkouring in our closet and on forbidden counters. 😻
Her scabbed ears have healed and her fur is growing back (guess she was reacting to her old kibble) since we switched her to low phosphorus wet food. She's taking 3 medications for her kidney function and its symptoms, plus dietary supplements every day. Today I have to tackle giving her a vitamin B12 shot. I'm really anxious about it.
Really hopeful she responds and stabilizes, and gains a bit of weight, and we that can eventually keep her on an even keel with just a kidney-supporting diet.
