@Mary625 Actually, even AJ does not show the worst pictures. What I saw through other channels I will never be able to unsee, nor, I think, will anyone else.
I am an old lady. I sit here grinding my teeth and wondering what I would do if twenty or thirty years younger and knowing how to shoot.

@CelloMomOnCars I see that Tuvalu has 11,468 inhabitants (14th May 2024 - https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/tuvalu-population/) - 280 per year, more than 40 years. Who gets to decide who comes first and who still has to stay when the water gets higher and higher?
Yes, cynical. A big country like Australia and a small number of 280, not per months, per year ...

@CelloMomOnCars Yes, they are so to say neighbours. And 11k is not a big number, I'd say. But if this seems already to be considered as a great deed - what will happen when enormous numbers of climate refugees will need to resettle? I am thinking about Bangladesh, parts of India etc.
And same time, countries like Australia have politicians who don't care about #ClimateCrisis and still promote fossil fuels instead of doing their utmost to prevent it getting completely out of hand.

    @glitzersachen I'm afraid under the new police laws in several German states (police law is state law, mostly not federal) it might be legal. Like the "admistrative detention" German style they started with climate activists in some places (first of all Bavaria, I think). @aral
