Jeśli ktoś ceni sobie praworządność, to polecam ten materiał o tym, jak została potraktowana konferencja w Niemczech. Mocno zbulwersował mnie przypadek zakazu wjazdu do Niemiec dla Yanisa Varoufakisa i okoliczności, o których opowiada w tym wywiadzie wideo dla Democracy Now.
Co gorzej, Varoufakis relacjonuje komentarze ludzi z niemieckiego świata finansów, którzy zgadzali się z nim, że niemiecki model gospodarki się kończy. Może to oznaczać wzrost autorytaryzmu i u naszego zachodniego sąsiada. Włos się jeży na głowie.
Varoufakis was not travelling to Germany nor attending the conference in person btw, but Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sittah was and got also banned from entering #Germany.
Germany moreover seems to believe that their internal #censorship, from their Interior Ministry (right?), should somehow apply outside of their borders, as they threaten people with fines or even jail time if they connect via Zoom from abroad!
The German Ministry of the Interior has issued a ban against DiEM25 co-founder Yanis Varoufakis after the police shut down the Palestine Congress that was set to take place in Berlin from April 12 to 14.
This entails not only a ban on entry into Germany, but even a ban on any form of online participation and activity at political events in the country, with the German government going beyond the bounds of authoritarianism. #Gaza#IsraelWarCrimes
Attributing #Israel an more power than it really has, e.g. an immense military capacity whereas the Palestinians are poor indigenous "firing pipes", when these "pipes" (that #Hezbollah gets from #Iran, btw) make significant portions of Israel practically uninhabitable for civilians, is antisemitic and in no way different than attributing the Jews world dominance. And here is the banned and suppressed speech of Yanis #Varoufakis -- who was also issued with "Betätigungsverbot” -- a ban on any political activity. Not just a ban on visiting Germany but also from participation via Zoom!

In his new book he argues that #capitalism as we know it is dead, replaced by a new form of #feudalism. He's making a compelling-enough argument that I feel I should pause my other work until I've finished reading it.

Maybe #Technofeudalism is its latest reincarnation rather than the end of #Capitalism, but a good term nonetheless to describe our age. Just a shame that neither Varoufakis nor Cadwalladr seem to have made it to #Mastodon yet (maybe not even left #X? I don’t know) - maybe soon

Die Technologie eröffnet viele Chancen und Möglichkeiten, zum Beispiel für Hörbücher oder vorgelesene Zeitungsartikel, aber birgt auch Gefahren. Denn auch Kriminelle können die Technologie nutzen, um jemanden nachzuahmen.
