Started working on a new little MagicaCSG hard-surface modeling project.

One of the great things of working with MagicaCSG is that every element is non-destructive, so I can adjust the shapes, creases, colors et cetera at any time.

They are common in spinoff games, but kind of rare in the Super Mario series

They were created for a non-Mario game, and they were later carried over to the Mario universe making their first appearance in Super Mario Bros 2

How do y'all feel about this not-so-recent trend of making in-game characters look just like their VAs?

I'm on the fence. On one hand, it's cool getting to go ooh Lance Reddick! (RIP), ooh Gina Torres, etc.

OTOH, does it limit us to character design? Or is it good to embody the IRL aesthetic of the person in-game?

What happens if a VA moves on or, for longstanding series, passes away?

Like I said, I'm on the fence. Haven't seen much conversation about it.

Many, many people have asked about error messages when using mastodon.social.

Mastodon.social is far too large. Its massive size causes errors, and threatens the long term safety of the whole Fediverse.

I strongly encourage people on mastodon.social to move their account to another server.

@syntaxseed idk if this helps, but nintendo switch online is a family plan, so several people could be on one plan and split the bill. I don't remember how many per plan tho.

People greatly underestimate the value of libraries in our society. Here's some FREE things you can do at any library:

-Write your greatest enemy an anonymous letter, claiming to have hidden money in a local library book.
