Many tiny and colored fish. Shooting through double glass is always difficult, especially with bright colors. In the last one you can really see the diffractions caused by the glass.
Climate change affects the ratio of male to female turtle hatchlings, with the rise in temperature of only one degree resulting in almost no males being hatched!
As well, microplastics play a part here because their presence in the soil can increased the heat absorption from the sun...
The net result, the gradual decline in turtle populations until there are none left...

Scientists from around the world are becoming increasingly alarmed by mass coral bleaching events caused by record-breaking ocean water temperatures. Water found to be as warm as a hot tub off the coast of Florida last year has moved to the southern hemisphere, infecting the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, as well as coral in coastlines in Brazil, Tanzania and the Red Sea. The BBC has more on the threat to marine life.
Just shipped these babies to the Clay Center of New Orleans. I'm super excited to be one of the artists chosen by juror Courtney Mattison to showcase my work in the "Ripple Effect" exhibit opening April 19th.
The two pieces I will be showing are sculpted out of white stoneware clay and glazed a lovely bronze color that changes depending on the lighting.
