Highs in March here ranged between 40°F (4.4°C) and 80°F (26.7°C). I'm still struggling to reconcile hitting 80°F on March 3rd. I'd expect that in maybe late April.

Knitted specked blue on black blanket (although it looks white on black in this pic) blanket of the Doors of Durin from Lord of the Rings. So, two trees, wrapped around pillars, with stars, runes, a hammer and anvil, and a stylised dwarf's helmeted head. It's topped by an archway containing the runes, and overall looks bloomin' marvellous. If I do say so myself.

In reality, this hat is more slouchy than I like, and the body of the hat is much wider than the brim. But A. I'm very happy that I finished it and didn't just leave it in #wip limbo, and B. I really enjoyed learning short row crochet as a technique. The texture and stretchy ribs are so satisfying!
