PS: Du coup l'extension "I don't care about cookies" peut remplacer "Consent-O-Matic".
Zoom Video and Zoom Info are TWO DIFFERENT companies. Sorry everyone.
Still not a bad idea to get out of their database however.
This is Zoom's privacy policy. It is an amazing piece of legal engineering granting them the rights to buy, sell, and gather just about any data about business users they want -- including listing you in a Business or Professional Profile (the "directory"):
<https://www.zoominfo.com/about-zoominfo/privacy-policy>
This is their form to opt-out of all tracking in their database which they use to sell your information to 3rd parties. Somewhat ironically, this page won't work unless you turn-off Privacy Badger and Ghostery web browser plug-ins:

If you use Zoom at work through a business account and don't wish to be listed, consider opting out. They are also collecting information from around the Web outside of Zoom apparently to help build out your profile.

Gotta love it when a douchebag tracking company publishes a white paper explicitly illustrating all of the ways they are breaking EU law in relation to ePrivacy and GDPR - talk about giving gifts!
AWIN will be the subject of my next legal complaint :)
#RGPD https://eupolicy.social/@ilumium/112235832500838592

Today is #FossilFriday & I got a reminder that last year this day my humans made #trilobite#cookies. It was for a colleague's #Phd defence pawty in the #geophysics department. The cookies were a huge success 😻😹
My mom was kind enough to bake cookies and paint the cookies, then she took pictures of the cookies next to the carvings!
I love how she paints them. It reminds me of when I would beg her to draw clothes for my paper dolls as a kid. The outfits were never 80’s cool, but they were vibrant and creative. :ablobcatheartsqueeze:
Oh look it works again, thought when it wanted to access #X anonymously it didn't work anymore. Apparently it now works again like on #Twitter and you can distribute its anonym here in the #Fediverse over a #Nitter instance. It's more convenient to avoid the data collection frenzy of this #web recording for your #privacy.
🧵 …and that's why I use the plugins and tools mentioned above and don't use the internet unprotected:
«Some of the Most Popular Websites Share Your Data With Over 1,500 Companies:
Cookie pop-ups now show the number of “partners” that websites may share data with. Here's how many of these third-party companies may get your data from some of the most popular sites online.»
Making some #cookies to finish the afternoon, and get me away from my desk and soldering iron.
Thankful that one of my big sisters helped me find a recipe for some childhood cookies I always liked at Christmas. Also it was her birthday yesterday. HBD to D!
Ooh, they're quite tasty. Very buttery, rich and simple. I think we called them #jambusters as a kid, but that name gets applied to a dozen different cookie recipes if you search on it.
