Gotta love it when a douchebag tracking company publishes a white paper explicitly illustrating all of the ways they are breaking EU law in relation to ePrivacy and GDPR - talk about giving gifts!
AWIN will be the subject of my next legal complaint :)
«Life runs on sunlight. Life rewards cooperation. Life builds from the bottom up. Life banks on diversity. Life recycles everything. Life builds resilience through diversity, decentralization, and redundancy. Life optimizes rather than maximizes. Life selects for the good of the whole system. In short, life creates the conditions conducive to life.»
“When I was teaching #lawSchool, I learned and taught certain #constitutional#principles. When #MajorieTaylorGreene was teaching #CrossFit, she learned a whole different set of values, evidently. Because my idea of what this country should be like is based on the #constitution, and she sees the world differently.” ~Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO)
Can’t wait to read “What is post-branding? How to Counter Fundamentalist Marketplace Semiotics,” by Oliver Vodeb and Jason Grant.
“Part design experiment, part critical theory, and part how-to-manual, What is Post-Branding? introduces a creative counter to branding’s neoliberal orthodoxy.”
Maybe I'm in denial but yesterday I broke and bought #BaldursGate3.
Now hear me out, I like #PatientGaming because I don't want to encourage game studios who put out broken games and hide functionality behind DLC. #BG3 doesn't do this, if I want other #gaming studios to follow suit, then I should reward the ones that put the customer first.
It's good to have #principles, and better to stick with them, but you need to know why you have them, and be willing to bend when the necessary.
the #court does not expect us to agree with the #principles that are espoused in these #decisions, but they expect us to agree that these are principled decisions. And on the #shadowdocket, when most of these #rulings have no #explanation whatsoever, that really, really complicates the story, especially when, as we've seen over the last five or six years, the #pattern looks far more #nefarious.
