13/15 stations have no step free access - they don’t exist for folk with mobility issues or with prams. Upon arriving to one accessible to wheelchair users - SPT policy is to fold wheelchairs up, being mindful of space.
It doesn’t fit any criteria of being a comprehensive, reliable or accessible metro service at the best of times.
Going over the Manhattan Bridge to Brooklyn earlier this evening on the Q train. The light was so beautiful. I don't often post video here, I think it takes up so much space on the server etc but what if an asteroid lands on NYC tonight wouldn't it be a shame that nobody got to see this?
Inside one of the original Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Gloucester subway cars in the Streetcar Museum near Guelph. They are kept indoors and the lighting gives the sense of being in a subway tunnel. I remember these cars, and being back in one felt like a subway ride that would never end, time stopping.

I recently renewed my travel card for the first time since 2018 or so. And I happen to use that metro line a lot given the location I live in.
Metro fascinates me for many reasons. But what blows my mind in particular is that first plans of building it were discussed as early as 1950s. However, the first line was opened in 1995. The initial part of the second line was opened in March 2015. Nearly 10 years passed since then, holy moly.
Also, I still love the sound Alstom trains make while leaving the station. Goosebumps all the way.
