I felt a bit experimental and concept-driven with this #watercolor painting last night, I'm happy with the outcome. I just wish I had access to the rest of my art supplies. Most of them are still in boxes since our move, because we have no space for them yet in our new home. So I'm stuck with the same Daler Rowney paints since last September.
A 2008 piece depicting Corosaurus. The only purpose for this was playing around in Photoshop and learning how to create painting and photo composite art.
I keep meaning to do more drawings from explicitly high or low perspectives in order to practice perspective and proportions—and so that I can learn to draw more dynamic scenes for future illustration work. So here's an elf witch riding a broomstick, seen from below.

In the Cloudmaker and the snail image, I made use of Unbound's "Splats", an alpha-based scattered texture, enabling easy fur, smoke, grass, et cetera.
