This bumblebee seemed to have problems with its proboscis, at least it fiddled with it really hard and for a long time with its little legs.
Eventually it started again, but its proboscis stayed extended.
@mikebrew Okay, listening to #Hawkeye pods now... and NO, Hailee didn't "carry her own movie". That movie succeeded cos of people's love for #Bumblebee... (and their interest in #Transformers).
I enjoy Kate (as a character) sometimes. But she's plastic most of the time. Hailee doesn't give the camera what it needs to make me believe in her character...and for the first full 1/2 of #Hawkeye, I just wanted her to go the hell away!
(kinda still do want her to go away. I find it hard to like Kate)
Took this picture of a local beehive around the #Vancouver commercial area a few years back. There is a little community garden right next to it with a public ‘take a book leave a book’ stand. Love that idea.
Really like how the colours of this one turned out. #bees are super important for the environment and I hope more communities can get behind supporting their local #bee population with planting pollinators and setting up hives.
Went out to feed the birds and found this little guy floating in the birdbath (he missed the rocks in there meant for him). Quickly got him out and put him in the Sun. He was soaked! Took about 10 minutes of diligent cleaning and me blowing on him and off he flew! #bumblebee#bees#gardening#birdwatching
