KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian forces have secured “combat control” of areas where Russian troops entered the northeastern Kharkiv region earlier this month, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said....
Your comment read to me as a sarcastic tone making fun of Ukraine for celebrating recapturing the territory.
And it goes without saying that the opposing force of the conflict would not need to be informed of the happenings... So, there you have at least a small fraction of the reasoning
I'll have to rescind my nomination for dumbest. Unfortunately there is no substitute award, because now that I have a better understanding I think you will have much, much further to go to earn "most pretentious" :P

A Tesla owner’s dream of taking his new Cybetruck for a spin turned into a nightmare. He landed in the emergency room with blood spurting from a wrist wound before even getting behind the wheel.
It's SO GOOD. I reached... An ending, but there's clearly more to do. There are at least two puzzles I'm aware of that I know I don't have all the clues for, and there are several interesting things beyond that which I don't even understand the purpose of yet.
Title. I found out recently that I need some major dental work in the near future and I don't have a damn clue how I am going to raise the extra money. I want to explore any realistic options for increasing my earnings before I have to resort to taking on debt, and I suspect that soliciting ideas in a semi-public place like this...

I definitely read it in more of a bit of a proud tone; "even if they tried to mess with my lunch break, union's got me covered" or so. That's probably where we diverged.
As for their first quote, well, I just figured that even if you're in a union job, it's still possible to not enjoy the job -- I'm not about to find fault in someone coveting the small moments of fun they get in their workday. (As an aside, even if a company is legally required to recognize a union, I figure "be respected" isn't really more likely post-unionization than it is beforehand, at least at most companies.)

My whole life I’ve always hated burgers that you get from fast food/restaurants. It’s just a bland beef patty with a bunch of toppings that make it a pain to eat. These places advertise their burgers as being “100% Angus Beef!” or whatever, like that makes it appetizing… Why is this the norm? Do people just not know...
My old $200 Motorola G9 Power phone lasted almost 4 years with only very minor scratches. Obviously in that period I have dropped it a few times getting out of the car, where the phone sometimes work itself out of my pant pocket while I drive, and then it slips out when I get out of the car. But no problem on my previous phones,...
I have one of those slanted chargers for desktop use, so while I'm at my desk, I just set it there (bonus that the screen is kept visible in case of a call or message)
It's reasonable to use it while it's charging on the stand, though I wouldn't enjoy doing anything landscape (it will still charge it's just very precise)
Definitely cannot deny the utility of a regular power cable if you are in bed or something and you really want to use it while charging.
