My old boss, a grand ol' man, long ago, presumably in a snit, took a pocketknife and an art gum eraser and carved it into a rubber stamp bearing the word BULLSHIT and proceeded to mark every document crossing his path, top and bottom, front and back, in bright red, with this stamp. When the reckoning came, he insisted that every document's classification was reflected by its markings.
In fairness, I'm confident that every scrap ultimately found it's way to the burn-barrel.

    @petersuber 2-things I was supposed learn from being a voter.
    1 Don't vote for wingnut billionaires. Even if you dislike the mainstream candidates. Be Trump-proof. Any Perot voter who became a voter, failed to learn from the experience.
    2 is the most important issue on the table in terms of preserving a -ian republic. It negates allowing folks to responsibly vote their conscience. Even if it's for or .

    I'm all for discourse. People throw that F-word around recklessly. Without ranked choice voting, there is the spoiler effect by which a far left 3rd party candidate benefits the center right party. Ratf—ing the blue team is the red team's surest path to victory.

    If 70% of D voters (& assume 80% of R voters) truly wanted Joe out, a strong candidate would challenge him in the primary. So, I see no evidence of this number. I think, if that's a believed number, it's #journalists who've made it up, to sell conflict.

    The D establishment appears to have cheated the primary in 2016. For Hillary. I don't believe they would for Joe.

    I saw it a little different. Hillary's people ran the show. It was going to be Her. When Trump said "it's rigged" it resonated because the D primary WAS rigged. Bern took his shot and it didn't work out.
    If the corporate duopoly troubles you, focus on #RankedChoiceVoting. It's something that's not tilting at windmills.

    It would be good for people to be able to vote their ideals without acting against their interests. RCV does that, I think. We had the visionary who animated voters in 2016. So, for me, I'm looking for a boring workhorse who makes stuff better. Agreed on the media and corruption problems. And the "big problems." There's also the civil cold war.

    DJT gained disaffected voters by convincing them he "really cared about" them. When hiring in the workplace, I'm not looking for a candidate's personal affection (immoral, if not illegal), just their anticipated effectiveness at getting done what I want done.
    I see far-left folks and far-right folks both complain about Joe as if he were 2 different folks. If either were truly satisfied, that would be a bad outcome. Listening to his Cabinet Secs, left should be happier.
