Happy Halloween!

Here's an illustration of No Face I made back in 2013.

I made this on a Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, which I believe was the first tablet with a pressure sensitive stylus? The app was called Clover Paint, which makes me wonder if it's still available. It had a unique UX for a painting app and an infinite canvas.

Interior scene in an abandoned building. Plaster walls have crumbled, exposing the brickwork underneath; moonlight shining through a grimy window is casting across a dusty, rubble-strewn floor. In the spotlight of a trembling, hand-held torch stands Mr Strings- a man in dire need of a decent meal. Despite his sinewy, skeletal appearance, he is surprisingly energetic. Perhaps he thinks the viewer has a spare sandwich and is trying to get their attention to ask if they're going to eat all of it, or maybe he's a blood thirsty zombie more interested in tasting their brains. He has a determined look, seems a bit of a go-getter, so I reckon brain sandwich is definitely on the menu; just as soon as those torch batteries run out.

In 1991, Capcom released the Three Wonders arcade cabinet, featuring three games, including Midnight Wanderers.

The brilliant atmosphere of Midnight Wanderers formed an inspiration for my graphics for the platform game Moon Child, which was first developed for the AGA Amiga, but was reinitiated for Windows after Commodore went bankrupt.

Finally, Apple includes hardware ray-tracing in their desktops. This is the first time I feel some enthusiasm for Apple hardware again, since I switched from my late-2013 iMac with the last NVIDIA GPU to an NVIDIA-based Windows PC.

Decided it was time to share another one of my hobbies with you fine people of mastodon.

As much as I enjoy making 3d models in #blender
I also like making them in real life for #cosplay

This is the Axe from God of War that I made for my younger brother for #halloween

Spent all night painting to get it done in time. This was the first time I made something based on a game as well as my first time using #3dprinting for the base shape. Typically it’s a foam base.
