Hey Matt, we might have more artists in common than my Listenbrainz profile would suggest ;)

Flying Lotus, Slint or Boards of Canada e.g. are regular guests in my playlists as well as Warpaint :)

But thanks to you I should check out more than just their debut+1.EP which I really enjoyed.

I haven't had the muse to get around fixing my Scrobble setup for foobar though, as I'm mostly listening to my local library these days.

Heute vor zehn Jahren veröffentlichten Messer "Die Unsichtbaren".

Noisiger deutschsprachiger Post-Punk hatte damals Hochkonjunktur und trotz unüberhörbarer Reminiszenzen an alte Genre-Größen traten Messer mit diesem zweiten Album endlich aus dem Schatten der allgegenwärtigen Vorbilder.

Immer noch ein gern gehörter Gast auf meinem Plattenteller.

Already intrigued by the title card for "Deutsches Haus", which uses the Tannenberg font as a shadow.

Subtle but very effective.

I was also impressed by the intricate plot structure.
Current German historical films and series often tend to treat subplots as an afterthought.

This production, however, gave sufficient depth and subtlety to each character's motives and traumas without feeling rushed.

It was also painfully accurate in its depiction of the collective silence, complicity and ignorance of the Adenauer era, and the critical debate about the trials as a form of absolution for the young republic.

Vor allem bei amerikanischen und englischen Usern fällt mir auf dass nicht zwischen israelischen rechten Siedlern und Juden in aller Welt unterschieden wird. Als würden alle Juden verantwortlich für Genozid und Apartheit von Rechten Siedlern sein. Wenn man darauf hinweist, wird man nur als Nazi und Rassist beschimpft. Mir fällt dazu nichts mehr ein. Dank der rechten Siedler in Israel wird Israel irgendwann nicht mehr existieren und ein neuer, diesmal weltweiter, Holocaust ausbrechen.

Unterkomplexe Interpretation der Fakten und falsche postkoloniale Schlussfolgerungen.

Wenn man einen Hammer hat, sieht alles wie ein Nagel aus.

Ich hoffe, dass die verklärenden Panarabien-Apologeten in der internationalen Linken bald eine notwendige Zäsur erfahren, wie sie auch in Deutschland durch innere Kritiker wie Geisel, Baier oder Pohrt angestoßen wurde.

Die an K-Gruppen erinnernde Rhetorik vieler Accounts lässt mich an einem zeitnahen Kurswechsel allerdings stark zweifeln.
