After 3,5 years of working with #gradle I'm back with #maven and one thing I'm enjoying is the uniformity of how to configure Maven. With Gradle, it seems there are several ways of doing the same thing, and they don't all work when combined.

The article you pointed out doesn't really clarify anything, just vaguely points out to a new scheduler on the horizon.

@kernellogger @colinianking I didn't realize the article was that old. It just showed up in my feed.

As pointed out in the bug report comments, it was brought up a couple years ago, with the same outdated explanation.

Peter's answer states that higher limits were a problem, previously. Implying that it may not be the case today.

Nothing was actually re-tested and unless someone does the leg work, it won't be, regardless of whether it is an actual problem or not.

I guess it's easier to blame the messenger…
