Professional Referees Organization (PRO) could not come to terms with the Professional Soccer Referees Association (PSRA), so we had USL League 1 and MLS Next Pro officials this week.

On reflection, I think PSRA overestimated its members' value. The replacement refs haven't been perfect, but I don't recall any match this week that wouldn't have been made worse with the officiating of Ted Unkel or Victor Rivas.

I chose not to follow everyone on Threads that I was following on Instagram (because my follows are mostly family and they didn’t ask for Twitter Adam). They somehow made that experience worse than onboarding Mastodon—just brands as far as the eye can see.

Also, I had to deal with blocking fascists over there already.

I got knocked down really hard the past few weeks between a springtime sinus infection and the asthma flare-up it caused.

I didn't realize just how fuzzy my brain was I was until the antibiotics and new asthma medication kicked in. Between Saturday and today I feel like a whole new person.

tldr; Sinuses and asthma bad, modern medicine good.

Hmmm. My Mastodon server started incurring data transfer costs on April 24. It looks like it exceeded AWS' free tier data transfer for the month... but only shows data transfers totaling 415 GB, in+out. The free tier data transfer is 1 TB. What's going on here?
