With the current election system, you are correct that third party candidates are spoilers in the races.

But, this will not change with voter change directly. It will only change with election reform.

One of the weirdest modern things to me is this obsession with generations. Maybe I haven't read the right stuff, but you pick up a 19th or 18th century book and they talk about the past, or conflict in families between old and young, but never this weird cohort-antagonism thing?

Could be it's random culture shit, but maybe it's because people have fewer kids, so they don't span generations? Or maybe tech acceleration means cohorts have more differences that are real?

It has been 119 days, since US House Speaker Mike Johnson was elected and started blocking aid to Ukraine because Trump demanded it.

These two men are traitors, and during 2024 they will both lose their power.

@randahl Your argument seems like a non sequitur.

Donald Trump is probably a traitor, because of the January 6th coup attempt.

But blocking military support to Ukraine does not seem to constitute an act of treason. Neither against the USA or NATO for that matter.

I think it is a horrible decision and probably influenced by their ties to Russia.

The armed conflict between Israel and Palestine is extremely complex and difficult.

I believe, we need to tread extremely carefully, stay neutral and urge both parties to deescalate the situation.

But apparently, foreign minister Lars Løkke of Denmark believes, what is needed is to put on one side's religious headgear and claim the entire country of Denmark is on the side of Israel, while the tanks are rolling in.

(In case you are wondering, the minister is not Jewish)

Alle computere jeg har ejet og brugt siden 1982 og frem til idag.

De tolv af dem har jeg selv betalt, den første købte mine forældre til mig, og LEGO har også betalt nogle stykker.

De bedste er nok ZX81, PowerBook Duo 210 og iMac G4. Den jeg lige har fået er også lovende som en potentiel klassiker.
