I talked my wife into going to see my 84-year-old aunt today.

What she doesn't know is it is a surprise BBQ with a birthday cake for her. Her birthday is this weekend.

Depends on your instance background. Basically, an instance intended for church ladies is different than a general instance.

If general, ignore it, imo, unless you have a profanity policy that outlines what is profane.

To me, 'fuck off', Jerry is the same as 'feck off, Jerry.' Who is to decide what is extreme or unnecessary? Your comfort level?

Feck off is less extreme than fuck off?

If poster ends up doing harassment, suspend without warning, would be my response.

Apparently "Starlink Precipitation" is now a thing. And yes, you got that right, Starlink precipitation is pieces of Elon Musk's fucking internet satellites raining down from space.

Wife developed really bad & saw many specialists over the past several years & it just got worse. So bad that they were talking about options like a stimulator or a drain tube, which would be ironic because I have a feeding tube. We joked, "I would have one for input, she would have one for output."

A new practitioner determined it was her causing it, took her off of it &added mealtime insulin

Unrelated to my issue with , but does anyone know off-hand if it’s illegal to ship a box of cow manure to an address every day for months, if the recipient is not a fan of the odorous farming resource?

Because if I do get a ticket for this show on short notice, I’m going to sell it immediately, and whatever profit I make is going to be invested in cow manure.

For farming, of course.

(Apparently the receptive sending could be harassment, so maybe just a single large shipment)

I've been downloading a torrent from Archive.org that has been stalled at 91% for about a week.

I looked up and it was downloading at 2Mib/s.

I experienced a surge of excitement, the kind I haven't felt since childhood when I would hear the ice cream truck coming.

Two posts were reported ... neither were from hugs.lgbt posts ... one was a reply to one of my posts by a mutual, the other was a post by that mutual without any hugs.lgbt involvement ...

Did I receive the report because one of those was a reply to a post of mine?

But why the other one?

Also very confused as to why ... the first was a thank you reply to a post from me.

The other was a meme.

The category was "other" but no notes or any other information that I could discern 🤔 🤷‍♂️

This ended up being a system outage.

I have talked with elevated support on and off for a couple months and the "no tomes available" happens throughout the day as they intentionally throttle connections based on peaks. They suggest raising the number of retry attempts and increasing the timeout before retries.

🤓🚨 16-hours after I reported the US East outage/disruptions after thousands of S3 errors in SideKiq, Backblaze confirms there are ongoing issues.

Current status for US East is, "Users may be encountering intermittent failures on uploads and downloads."
