Reminder:

It is not a good idea to to respond to every bit of craziness in the news.

By "crazy" I mean speculation.

If we respond (click) all are encouraging craziness.

People click, and the people spreading crazy get rich and they have an inventive to continue.

Traditional news publishers learn that there is $$ in spreading crazy.

In the past, people saw speculation, felt worried and asked me how things work.

We are then part of the cycle.

Let's not be part of the problem.

Thank you for posting this. It is one of my pet peeves about the media...
"IF X does ___ then B will be the outcome!!" It feels like nothing but click baiting....sensationalizing the news. They are trying manipulate our feelings, to make people feel alarmed and afraid.
I don't want guesses/opinions disguised as news, as facts.

Everybody switch browsers to Firefox. Google is doing some shitty-ass stuff with Chrome that will FORCE their ads onto your eyeballs, and if you don't go along, they won't LET you use Chrome. Good. Tell them to go fuck themselves. Chrome is a crappy-assed browser, and not all the "Don't be Evil" policies in the world will make me happy with turning over all my data to Google muthafuckas for sale or rent.

Well tonight might be better, though it's always difficult to sleep in a newish place.

How are you feeling about the move? Has the fact that it is permanent hit you yet?
It's normal to feel sad, a loss, and excited about living in the new country. at the same time...though it can feel rather unsettling at first.
