A new pack of the stats that are updated monthly.

An encouraging uptick in the rate of vaccination deliveries, nudging the coverage up to ~6% of adult Australias with an XBB.1.5 vaccine does. I'm a bit puzzled as to why there would be an uptick?

The tail of a whale - one of two humpback whales that we came across whilst cruising in our Zodiac at Meusnier point around the Antarctica peninsular. They were in a feeding frenzy having come across a krilling field. Apparently the tails have fingerprint like capability enabling them to be uniquely identified.😍 😎 😜

During today's promenade almost stepped on this huge moth (about 5 inches long) lying motionless on the path - clearly a recent death. Suspect it is a hawk moth particularly with its mysterious evil looking face.

This is a great example of one of the features of Aboriginal art galleries in the wild bush down under whereby it was OK if the later visual story was drawn over a previous piece of art - here we have at least three sets of overlaid stories separated over thousands of years. This photo was taken in the Mount Borradaile area of south western Arnhem - probably containing the richest collections of such art treasures down under.
