The protagonists are Romans revived by a Greek god to save a Greek goddess who gets tied to a crucifix and turned into a dove. Along the way you shapechange by punching two-headed dogs. Not Cerberus. Neff is discount Hades who becomes a rhinoceros. And the protagonists turn into tigers to fight unicorns, because maybe they knew a guy who heard of them in India?
