@Melissabeartrix I guess I was responding to a trophy-minded hunter, a practice I'm against. It's been pointed out to me that some people are hunting deer for food they need. That's a lot more complicated and I don't have a good answer.

I see a lot of idiots complaining about the police that were on top of buildings at campus protests.

FFS, we have a serious gun violence problem in the USA and sadly snipers may be able to help protect innocent people from the gun nuts sometimes. I think it's worthwhile to try to protect them personally anyways.
