@RL_Dane One of the most famous headlines of the modern era on the October 30, 1775 Edition of the New York Daily News, "Ford to City: Drop Dead." President Ford did not say those exact words -- the Daily News was paraphrasing with an editorial spin. Backstory: NYC was on the ropes financially and was seeking a bailout from the feds before it was forced into defaulting and bankruptcy. The day previously, Ford gave a speech indicating that wasn't going to happen.

@samueljohnson I have one laptop in the house that has a Window 10 partition, which I use once per year so I can do my taxes. Hate it.

Similar, but kinda opposite to you, I once bought a used System 76 laptop on Amazon that came with Windows instead of Linux on it. Somewhere along the line, one of the laptop's previous owners had wiped whatever flavor of Linux System 76 shipped with and put Windows on it. I'm pretty sure I made the laptop happy when I wiped Windows and put Linux Mint on it.

@RL_Dane Great answer to my question. Tells me it wouldn't work for me either for most purposes. Might help for some simple editing tasks for radio though. I'll have to look into it for that, although I suspect it won't be worth the bother of having to work with two separate platforms.

Again, thanks!
