#NewsNation is a lie.

SignullGone, to uap in "NewsNation has signed award-winning journalist and author @rosscoulthart as a special correspondent and investigative journalist."

Follow up tweet.

In his new role, effective immediately, he will contribute to special projects and short and long-form documentary-style pieces on a wide range of topics, including national defense and military operations. #NewsNation

Interesting pickup from NewsNation. It seems they might double down and increase focus around the UAP topic.

a media analyst described the mass shooter from Maine as "socially frustrated" and having "no meaningful life"

some of us just drink when that happens, you know...

realcaseyrollins,

@thor Yeah there was an analyst/guest on #NewsNation's #Cuomo show speculating that #RobertCard might have been rejected by a crush or something

Completely disagree with that assessment, I would expect that someone who did a shooting in response to that would do more targeted attacks than shooting large groups of random people in generalized areas not particularly habited by people in narrow or precisely defined demographics.

Like wasn't that incel shooting of a nail salon targeted by someone due to sexual frustration or addiction or something?

Some facts about the missing #OceanGate #submarine from the #NewsNation folks (you can see clips on YouTube):

  1. The thing was jury-rigged together by the CEO because there are no submarines that go this deep available - and yes that is a very bad sign for the missing

  2. It has 7 redundant systems to bring the submersible to the surface, some of which work even if the power is cut. If they are bobbing on the surface, they will survive and be found by the rescue planes.

  3. Some of the work preparing the submersible for launch has to be done by the passengers when they are inside. If anyone fucks up even a little, they likely died instantly when the vessel went past a certain depth and thus imploded.

  4. Submarines are usually designed with multiple layers of redundant systems, and military subs will not go as deep as the submersible because everyone wants to live.

  5. The toilet onboard the Titan (name of the submersible) is a plastic bag.

  6. Look for Mr. Pogue's tales of the thing.
