@MonaApp hello. Since the last update. The compose window doesn’t resize when the keyboard comes up. So all the options at the bottom of the window disappear. Love the app, thanks.
@donni@lisamelton I once played that a mates funeral. He’d been hit by a car. Didn’t get the connection until his coffin was being carried out the church.
Not sure this is likely, but it does seem logical. Although Apple would have to repair bridges with devs that were atomised during its scrap with the EU.
Attempted #Introduction. Interests and things I post:
I’m the world’s most boring archaeologist. I boost #archaeology stuff but rarely post my own.
Immigrant and dual citizen :US:/ 🇧🇪.
TV obsessions: #TheExpanse, #Babylon5, #TwinPeaks. Have a lot to say about #StarTrek also.
Video #games: wide variety, but biggest obsessions have been rpgs and city builders.
Food pics, flower pics, selfies.
Love custom emoji. I am :bisexual_flag:, kinda :aromantic_flag:, kinda :ace:, and :autism:.
Some years back, I decided I was going to learn to draw. I had never been able to draw, so I started with just copying existing images. I drew them the same way I do archaeological field drawings: using a grid and drawing where the thing I want to draw intersects with the grid. (cont.)
Having trouble sleeping of late. Not sure why. Might be the light waking me. But I’m always awake around 5 and then I just doze for a bit until it’s time to get up. But I also have tinnitus that’s been quite bad of late and so have a quiet audio thing running on my iPhone every night.
Ncuti Gatwa is very engaging and the young woman is okay, but all the puns and the meta televisual stuff feel a bit shoehorned… and I don’t really care about any of it. Delightfully performed villain in the second episode, though.
Still…I dunno.
And the song was unpardonably bad.
Wait and see I guess.
(Wait for the telegraphed twist?) #DoctorWho
@craiggrannell@CommonMugwort So many fourth wall breaks and winks to the camera (figuratively and literally). Theme music being played. The doctor saying “I thought that was Non-diegetic”. Shirley Ballas and Murray Gold appearing at the end…
@AutisticMumTo3@Lazarou I’m incredibly lucky that I have two friends that work for Citizens Advice. Last time I went for a review could tell that the interviewer was rubbing his hands together to cut my benefits.
Then my friend opened her backpack and got out all the rule books for them. Never seen someone’s face drop so quickly.
It still tickles me that the TERFS and Transphobes tried to claim Terry Pratchett as their own, and everyone who actually knew him, including his daughter, and co-author Neil Gaiman, was like WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, you couldn't be further from the truth.
