Neues Smartphone vor Ablauf von (5?) Jahren nur, wenn man einen umfangreichen Quiz mit einer Textaufgabe zu den Arbeitsbedingungen in Ländern, in denen die #Smartphones hergestellt werden sowie in denen, wo die wichtigsten Rohstoffe herkommen besteht.

Vielleicht würde so was etwas bringen.

I don't know why it took me so many years to come up with this #UX suggestion, but I think @EvolutionGnome should default to showing "Mobile phone" instead of "Home phone" in the contact editor nowadays, because statistically speaking, that's much more likely to be useful, due to the hegemony of #smartphones and the near-extinction of consumer landline residential #phones even among oldtimers, except yours truly 😉️ https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/2580

Here’s a picture I took with it on my first trip to Milan in 2005. I remember thinking what a brave new world it was that I could send text messages from Italy to USA instantly. (For 50¢ each!)
