Not pictured: The eye-watering #skunk smell coming off #BoDoodle. We're gonna go buy something called SkunkOff today on a friend's reco. He is also going to the groomer this week, happily.
Night number three of sleeping with the window open. Tomorrow I’m purchasing mothballs for the basement. I suspect a skunk is hiding down there and I won’t have it. Bright lights, music, and mothballs. More aggressive options are on the table such as having a professional use a live trap to remove the critter.

The rare times that the morning sun is hot enough to drive away mosquitoes, I like to drink my coffee on the deck and watch the critters. I wasn't expecting this one to put on a performance for a long time, just a few feet from me.
Middle of the night I wake to sound of wife closing windows and the STRONG smell of skunk.
"dog?"
"I don’t think so”
“c’mere buddy”

“he doesn’t smell any worse than usual”

I can confidently declare he has learned either nothing or to keep doing it. This despite getting chemical burns/irritation on his lips and nose (they’re healed now).
