they’re not idiots because they got scammed, they’re idiots because they moved to one of the most remote and difficult places in the world without knowing absolutely anything about it, doubling down on every mistake, being assholes to locals, ignoring every warning and putting themselves and their kids in constant danger while being extremely obnoxious.

i can’t sleep because i finally understood that a woman i met a few months ago heard I was autistic, and that’s WHY she was treating me a little like a 10 yr old who needed a lot of care and attention and explanation (honestly i loved it)
