Hey folks, the beta for Shattered Pixel Dungeon v2.4.0 should be ready to start this coming week!
The beta will have everything I've shown off so far, including a new item category, changes to alchemy, and changes to the Duelist. There are also some levelgen additions! Entrance and exit rooms in particular are going to become more visually varied.
It's not quite a cable, it's a tentacles, but the concept of creation is very similar. Particles in Niagara that keep a certain distance between themselves. Maybe someday I'll come up with something to do with it 🐙
Time for the 43rd consecutive ScreenshotSaturday Mastodon Musings, an article with a selection of hand-picked Mastodon posts from last weekend's Screenshot Saturday™, each with a brief comment from yours truly.
Not too exciting for a late #screenshotsaturday I've been whiteboxing some of the cityscape for Robot Shooter on my gamedev streams. Starting to fill out a bit now
#ScreenshotSaturday I’ve been demoing at VGM Con this weekend in Minneapolis, and also at Minnedemo. At one point I had 5 simultaneous players. :D One person even played for a good 3 hours!
You can check out the latest dev build wherever you are from the Itch page, but don’t forget to wishlist on Steam too. :)
More work done on the improved destruction model. Some of the modules can be volatile upon destruction. In this case, missile bays. Higher-tier hulls like this one usually have additional armor layers protecting vulnerable modules from AP ammunition.
Good evening... Tried to make a storm, but my video card said me - "do it without me"... Therefore, I did not continue any further, and I will show you this
I have mixed feelings about working on UI: on one hand it's both surprisingly complex and tedious. One the other hand when things do work, it's super rewarding.
Anyway, everything is still pretty ugly, so nothing to show yet. Here's a GIF instead for #screenshotsaturday
