A waxing gibbous moon framed in the fork of an eroded branch of a Pinus longaeva (Great Basin bristlecone pine) at ~3,048m (10,000ft) in the White Mountains of California. (This is a single frame photo made by a human, #notAI.)
Intense and very beautiful dawn conservation mission today, checking out bush health in a rarely visited part of the Remutaka ranges. Tracing a knife-edge ridgeline through some regenerating rainforest, we were on the lookout for invasive species that might stunt its growth.
On the climb in, our redlight headlamps lit up the young canopy,an armada of clouds setting sail in the distance. #notai
Under a full moon, with the constellation of Orion overhead, this is one of thirteen ghostly "Last Supper" (1984) figures by Albert Szukalski at the Goldwell Open Air Museum in, appropriately, the ghost town of Rhyolite, Nevada. (Photo made by human, #NotAI: 3/27/2021.)
Ovis canadensis nelsoni (desert big horn sheep). This herd of rams were found in remote central Nevada in the Reveille Range (10/2020). (Photo made by human, #notAI.)
My most recent, Northern Cardinal On A Snowy Windy Day, had a facelift (I decluttered it). If it's not showing up on my website yet, sigh, hang in there … it will … eventually.
This not AI, this was painstakingly put together by me, a while back when I was home sick from work & upset by the news. DM me if you'd like a print of this. It's not up on the website or #ArtisansCooperative page yet, but I have Art of Where print on demand & can get it to you quickly (w/out the website lettering, of course) in whatever size you prefer.
It's not 'Artificial Intelligence'. We don't have 'Artificial Intelligence'. Everyone lambasted IBM (quite rightly) when they called Watson 'Artificial Intelligence' because it's not a thing humanity has achieved. Not even close. We have really good language models. I am getting pretty tired explaining to people 'No we need a different kind of model for that'. I'd make a T-shirt except I don't wear T-shirts. #AI#NotAI
Painted freehand digitally exclusively from my imagination in Corel Painter. Though imaginary, Sunrise In Silver And Gold was inspired by the amazing beauty we see in winter on top of Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, PA. NOT created by using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
"Playful Posies" A cluster of playful posies … full blown roses and buds (or are they peonies?) … seemingly dance against the darkening night sky. More happens in the gardens, when no humans lurk, than can be conjured in our imaginations! It's party time for the playful posies!!
"Somebody Needs Coffee" has won second place in the 5/25/2024 #FineArtAmerica contest "Creatures In Unusual Places." Many thanks to contest administrator, Crystal Turnblom, and everyone who voted for my image. Congratulations to the other winners!!
Add a dose of humor to your space with this digitally painted photograph of two guys goofing around at an improv event. It was a blast to photograph and even more fun to paint digitally. Ideal wall art for home, office, hotel, and hospitality interiors.
On a soft September afternoon, when the autumnal light has begun to temper the harsh contrasting sun and heavy heat of summer, a golden sunflower, catching the mood of the gentle day, flutters her petals in the breezes.
Sending out sincere thanks to my 5/12 #FineArtAmerica client from Montrose, CA. for their purchase of an 8" x 8" canvas print of Vintage Circus Roses. Enjoy!!!
It can be seen better ... and all the cool products it's available on ... at my website, here:
So happy that "Watching The Sun Set" earned second place in the 5/21 Fine Art America juried contest "Cardinals - Photos or Traditional Art Only" held by the Cardinals Group. Many thanks to contest administrator, Debbie Youll, and to the jurors. Congratulations to the other winners!
