Lately patronizing a place called Food Basics who seem to have improved their selection lately! Plus predatory #Canadian grocer #loblaws has been gouging us so much.
Most noticeable benefit beyond prices is the ACTUAL staff in the aisles stocking shelves! Haven't seen that in YEARS. Loblaws uses after-hours workers. Getting actual help finding stuff is so brilliant!
Lots of good price deals on grocery items today, and yet another week of successfully avoiding #Loblaws. Their opportunistic gouging through the height of the pandemic period has really turned me off shoveling more cash into the coffers of Canada's wealthiest family.

Boxed cereal manufacturers are selling cereal for $3.99 in #loblaws. That's not a sale price, they shrunk the boxes so much, they'll probably last two days.
