2 years of work compressed in 1 minute. I did this video because today is a very special day: the Stunt Xpress Demo has just launched on Steam! 🥳We can't wait to hear what you think of it! 💙 (🔊) #godotengine#indiedev#indiegame
Now we're cooking! Shown here is the interaction between different subsystems - I'm using the Command Pattern which makes implementation pretty straight-forward.
Next up is finding an interesting way to limit the undo feature - Any ideas?
Did you know RPG in a Box comes with several project templates to help you get started with making a game? Classic, isometric, 2D, FPS, platformer, and more!
What type of game or mechanic would you like to see added as a project template? 🤔
Did you know RPG in a Box is a Titanium donor for @godotengine? Godot has been such an amazing fit from the start, and I know there are countless contributors who have put a lot of hard work into it. It's my way of giving back and saying: Thank You! 💖
Stumpy's Platforming 101 project template includes examples of collectibles (w/ counter to track/display number collected), zones to respawn the character when falling off the level and other events, moving platforms, climbable ladders/walls, & conveyors!
I have continued to work on the live shader editor I created in Godot. I use this whenever I just want to fiddle with a shader, as an alternative to Shadertoy. If a shader works here, I can just copy it into my project.
Stumpy returns home as his adventure comes to an end. Or is it just the beginning?
"So my friends, go forth and bring a world to life. Magical, beautiful, strange, or silly - whatever you desire. It's time to begin YOUR OWN adventure. Start your journey NOW!"
Attempt #2
I swapped from a HingeJoint3D to a JOLTHingeJoint3D cuz I'm using the jolt physics engine (whoops). This was me messing with the Lower Limit live.
While not the effect I'm looking for yet, it does show I'm on the right track (hopefully).
