In 2020, Swedish neuroscientists put 30 trans and 30 cis research subjects into a brain scanner and showed them pictures of their bodies. Then they showed them images where their body had been morphed to look more masculine or more feminine. The results support the natural order of gender identity.

#Emmer (MN), the #House maj whip, was elected as the #GOP pick on a 5th ballot in an internal race that drew 9 #Republicans. It’s not clear, however, that he has enough support to be elected on the House floor. To prevail, Emmer would need a majority of the full chamber.

Sexual orientation and #GenderIdentity (I hate the term are two distinct aspects of an individual, though they are often mistakenly intertwined. #SexualOrientation refers to whom an individual feels attracted to, either emotionally, romantically, or sexually. This encompasses orientations such as #heterosexual, #homosexual, #bisexual, #asexual, #pansexual, and more. I personally am a bisexual #woman.

Researchers from King's College London conducted a survey among 600 people and found the majority of women were more likely to gain online security advice from friends and family than helpful internet resources. Dr Kovila Coopamootoo, lecturer in computer science, said it highlighted "the gender norms at play in online safety and the role that gender identity plays in staying safe online.”
