80 years ago, against a sizable force, who held the physical high ground, brave individuals climbed from the water onto the beach, and up that high ground, to free people from fascism (Nazi forces).
I find it ironic and sad, that 80 years later, fascism is taking root in America, as a convicted felon who supports isolationism, racism, and Nazis, is one of the leading Presidential Candidates.
American fascist, aka: Republicans aka: fake christians, evangelicals, oligarchs and extreme nationalists are all united.
In lock step they repeat the lies. Election lies, voting lies, LGBTQ lies, healthcare lies, covid lies, lies to undermine our justice system, January 6th lies. Republicans run a criminal organization. They minimize the reversal of the legal order.
They say it's a "Cultural War."
No, it's not. It's to destroy voting right, civil rights and abortion rights. Apart from everything else, their aim is success in destroying the institutions which promote the realization of equality for all.
