So something #funny happened last night. I mean, I'm one to think that dreams are symbolic of event and memories of the last day or so being rehashed as you sleep. I need the help of a dream interpreter on this one!

This kind of thing gets me going. These sort of reversals of agency. Also, the idea that things get caused by dreams. There is something in me that wants to explore all these things that don’t fit the not modernity
It was warm out today, one of the first really warm days we’ve had this summer. I was walking up 14th St NW and noticed a vehicle in the bus lane.
“I think I’ll take the bus the rest of the way’, I thought.
I got into the vehicle and greeted the driver politely. The air conditioning was a great relief. I didn’t see a place to tap my Metro card but maybe the reader was broken.
“What the [EXPLETIVE DELETED] are you doing in my car?” The driver said, rudely.
“Oh!” I exclaimed. “I think you’re mistaken. See the red paint underneath us? This is a bus lane, so this must be the bus.”
Am I the only one who regularly fantasizes about this? It’s normal, right?
Had a dream where we all lived in a world without flat screen TV's and thus no smartphones or tablets (just portable TV's with teletext. . CRT TV's the size of smart cars. You kind of drove them into gaps left in houses to fit such things. Good picture though. And still only 4 channels. #dream#dreams
However, it is still a puzzle in a 1,000 little pieces waiting to be laid out correctly. And whomever starts to connect larger chunks of the greater picture, will meet the toxic bully that is always somewhere around: The festering Beast of #Hypercapitalism. Storming in, scattering pieces, shattering #Dreams.
Why is the bully there, I ask myself? Something that puzzles me. Maybe because we leave the door wide open for this foul beast? 🤔
I must have been in Tokyo and I was at a private VIP idol event. I went to talk to one of the idols who was sitting all alone in a corner. She was a shy waifish blonde woman, who looked a little like Nonayu. Generally not my type.
I'm not sure how we got there, but I was going to help her start appearing as a solo act under the name "Girlfriend."
We hired Poppy's songwriter to do a song. By this time it was a duo with an ex-girlfriend of hers. And the unit name had changed to "Konbini Idol." The song and MV were going to be about a girl who falls in love with a convenience store clerk. One of the lines of the song was "Let me dance. Let me dance. Let me dance with you." to the tune of "Let Me Die," by Blutengel.
The dream ended with me photographing a kissing scene along the water of some harbor.
I dreamed I was a sorceress in a "Diablo"-esque world where demons were invading, but it turned out they were on the run from something worse, a hungering void that opened holes in reality and tried to suck people through. The demons wanted to join forces with us against it.
I also dreamed I was an underground figure picking up weapons from a supplier at an abandoned office building when someone started blowing it up section by section and shooting at anyone who tried to escape.
I also had a totally fluffy dream about multiple previous Doctors from "Doctor Who" taking me on an airship ride for some reason. The Sixth didn't understand personal space, if you know what I mean.
Last night I dreamed someone in the office was playing some awesome high speed super hectic breakcore on his laptop. Very Venetian Snares/Hitori Tori/Ruby My Dear style things, but something I never heard of. It's crazy your brain can just come up with completely awesome new music like that. Too bad you can't just record that somehow. 😁
I want to indulge in some solarpunk fantasy; when we have UBI and ranked-choice voting, so climate change is solved, and social justice has been achieved, what are you doing with your time?
Last night I dreamed [energy drink brand] released a limited edition "Milk" flavor. The can had Nixon on it. Looked at the ingredients and it had pineapple in it, referencing his last White House meal.

So I apparently sleep talk quite badly... From what I've been told. What I sleep talk about has nothing at all to do with what I dream about. What so ever.
Once I was told I shouted "Oh no! Are you okay?"... And more recently I was told I said "It's just you and me now Sam."... which just reminded me of lord of the rings.
Has anyone ever heard anyone sleep talk to themselves.
In the absence of a brain that can process novelty, I've been re-watching my favorite shows, which has been a nice opportunity to slow down and observe things like plot structure and what makes these shows so good.
I have apparently been doing so much of this I woke myself up critiquing the plot unfolding in my dreams.
I like it when my dreams have architecture or geography - in which I move to experience them. These tend to be busy dreams! This last one had a vineyars, line dancing, cowboy boots and a soundtrack by The Gypsy Kings. #dreams
