Any thought on what to do for a 100 meter farms carry when you don’t have 100 meters available for walking? Walk in place for 60 seconds?

In a new study published in The British Journal of Sports Medicine, researchers found that while doing either aerobic exercise or strength training was associated with a lower risk of dying during the study’s time frame, regularly doing both — one to three hours a week of aerobic exercise and one to two weekly strength training sessions — was associated with an even lower mortality risk.

Today’s workout was the kind where you try to do overhead squats, drop weight to get through low reps, and wind up doing relaxing yoga instead of finishing the last set.

I probably shorted my plank holds because I couldn’t see the timer and just counted.

My shoulders say that was enough push up work today.

I'm Joel TheBicyclist born in 1975 in Wollongong originally currently in Melbourne via country NSW and Canberra.

I'm a professional bicycle mechanic, my personal cycling interest in primarily urban utility riding and bicycle touring, but if you can ride it I can fix it

I'm also a musician. I play bass trombone, piano, accordion and percussion, primarily classical and jazz. I spent close to a decade living off my busking on the accordion.

We're going to pick up a machine from a family in town this afternoon, if it ever stops raining! I'm so freaking excited!! It looks in great shape from the photos & all they want is $25. (The husband said, "Just get it out of my house." Lol.) I used to love to row years ago so I'm hopeful that I can build up some stamina & strength. Maybe I'll start adding too. I'm done being sick. I'm done with . It's time to beat it into submission.

42 minutes of level 1 #pilates on YT this morning. Great practice. Feeling strong when I step on the mat. Every time I have a workout, regardless of the #exercise, I feel more & more hopeful that I can actually put my #POTS into remission this time. I'm anxious that I have to do a stress test next week with the new #cardiologist. And if I'm being honest, I know I have to start #StrengthTraining & that's when I historically fall off the wagon.
