Just... Don't? :confused_dog: If GNOME doesn't want to have a fallback for server-side decorations, then the intended functionality of the desktop is to just not have window decorations for your app. If people open bug reports about it, close them and direct them to the GNOME issue tracker. I don't get why this is considered a stopper for so many developers targeting Wayland. Just don't have them, I don't get it. :neocat_what:
I am looking for an SSD caddy that can hold 2 or more SSD drives that I can connect via a USB-3 cable to my Mac Mini. I know there are plenty of hard disk caddies around. Does anyone know of a good one and even the best drives to put in it?

A lot of people think they can't be garnished but they don't really know what that means.

Studio Update: A few weeks ago I was soliciting opinions about whether or not to get a Mac Mini to replace my ailing, nearly decade-old PC.
Opinions differed, leaning toward "yes but get more RAM than base model" and I had just about decided not to do it when I stumbled on a good video from a music tech vlogger I really like (video here: https://youtu.be/obkCMxaIIFM) who did exactly what I was thinking and had great results.
Was also randomly able to trade a bunch of used #cassettes locally for a new #monitor (which gave me the one big pain in the ass part of the upgrade; had a refresh speed mismatch that took me an hour or so to puzzle out), so I also have a newer, bigger monitor.
Still porting/backing up all my files from my old PC to my collection of hard drives and new #SSD storage, but otherwise have retired the old warhorse. Planning on cleaning it up and doing some minor repairs/upgrades...some day.

Jakie są szanse, że dysk SSD(M.2)/SSD(SATA) będzie w stanie poprawnie działać na lapku, kóry teoretycznie nie obsługuje takiej wielkości dysków? Obecnie mam SSD(M.2) 1TB, ale muszę kupić coś dużo większego i pomyślałem o SSD 4TB. Wszystko pięknie, ale wg ulotki producenta (z okolic 2018/2019), ten laptop jest w stanie uciągnąć max 2TB. Zarówno na złączu M.2, jak i SATA.
Dzwoniłem do pomocy technicznej producenta, ale trafiłem na gościa, który brzmiał jakby wczoraj za bardzo zabalował i jeszcze kac go trzymał, a co za tym idzie, jedyne co się dowiedziałem, to żeby patrzeć na to, co jest napisane w ulotce.
Śpieszcie się backupować dyski #SSD, bo tak szybko odchodzą...😔
Kurde no....nowy lapek, niecałe 4 miesiące i dysk padł nagle podczas pracy i koniec....
Fajnie, że sobie wziąłem z Precisionem gwarancję naprawy u klienta. W tym przypadku nawet nie musiał przyjeżdżać serwisant, tylko wystarczyło, że mi wysłali dysk i sam podmieniłem na nowy.
No i ten nowy widzi bez żadnego problemu.
Jednak plusem #HDD było to, że padały stopniowo a nie jeb i koniec..

Hin und wieder schafft es das #Linux scheinbar nicht, die SSD korrekt in den Standby zu fahren.
Dann wird sie sehr warm (ca. 50 Grad) und saugt meinen Akku über Nacht leer.
Kennt das Problem jemand?
Google sagt Firmware Update, die ist aber bereits up-to-date.

Was für eine M.2 #SSD verbaut man denn aktuell so, wenn man ein neues Laptop anschafft? Ist PCIe 4.0 so viel besser als PCIe 3.0?
In der Vergangenheit war ich mit den SATA SSDs von #Crucial extrem zufrieden. Können deren M.2 Speicher auch was? Von WD soll man glaub inzwischen die Finger lassen. Zumindest lese ich hier öfter Negatives darüber. Gibt es noch andere empfehlenswerte Hersteller?
