Frage | Mobilizon: Ist das ein Bug oder kann das weg?
Ich wollte eben auf einer Mobilizon Instanz eine Veranstaltung mit der Adresse 'Zeppelinstraße 1, Heidelberg' anlegen, aber irgendwie findet Mobilizon das nicht. Ist das ein Bug oder mache ich da was falsch?

However
I tend to find I find about #WorldxyzDay after the event or just before, or things like #ScienceWeek or similar, so we need these events to get more publicity on the Fediverse.
Ideas from the community welcome. Could perhaps be something on #Mobilizon to send out reminders before events.
Is there an events instance (eg of @mobilizon or @gancio) we can use to keep track of #fediverse related events? Both in-person gatherings and online meetings.
I’m conscious that with the growth of interest in the fediverse, and in the number of related events being independently organised (which is great!), we’re going to need a canonical place to keep track of them. So why not dogfood the emerging federated events system!
Does anyone know a Federated app (one that uses ActivityPub) that allows for multi-user access to a single profile?
For a contra-example, if I use Mastodon to create a profile for an organization, I can only create one account and one password. Sure I could share that password with other org leaders, but if one person changes the password, the others are locked out.
So I need an app that can create a multi-user profile and that people can access with their own username and password and give "admin" rights to multiple people, less privileged account rights to others, etc.
I'm wondering if the app #Mobilizon would do the trick. It's designed for organizing a group. I wonder how the posts look like in other apps, like Mastodon. I'll have to tinker with it.
Hier im Podcasts ab ca. Min. 15 werden auch noch mal von @Lioh einige Hintergründe zum Fediverse berichtet, an dem sie auch selbst aktiv mitentwickelt hat (auch sehr aufschlussreich in Bezug auf die aktuellen Zentralisierungs-Tendenzen im Fediverse)

@ikkeT@jruoh What do you know of #pikaviestin.fi ? Who manage it? Is it Kapsi? I mean it requires a .fi email from an institution(?) to register but I don't see any affiliation. I just created an account in another #mobilizon instance to organize events for an under creation association in #Tampere of #Spanish speaking people and if I have to push people to use tools from the #fediverse it might make sense to push towards this IM instead of the general Matrix.org instance... or not
