Also Microsoft, we are working to make it impossible to use collaboration tools like Teams in Linux. You can no longer take calls in the browser, for instance. There is also no app for Teams in Linux.
Note: I don't WANT to use Teams, I am forced to by work.
Microsoft has announced a new subscription service for Copilot for individuals at $20 a month.
While the subscription for enterprise customers made sense, I'm not sure if Copilot Pro currently offers enough benefits for individual users to be willing to pay an additional $20/month for.
Personally, I think it would be better to bundle it with Microsoft 365 or something similar to Google's offerings with Google One.
I think I'm done with #Microsoft (M$) at this point. I won't be renewing my yearly #Microsoft365 subscription for #Office. I'll just have to get along without #Outlook. I stopped using #OneDrive a while ago. Glad I did or else they would have stolen all my personal documents by now for their AI.
I guess this means I'll have to stop using their email and Outlook too and settle for something crappy. The best alternative seems to be #Thunderbird. Ugh. Maybe I will pay for #ProtonMail then.
It's been six months — half a year — since Firefox 114 was released with support for FIDO2/WebAuthn. Microsoft 365 support is still broken, particularly for Linux users. You can register a security key but cannot authenticate using it.
Amusingly, Microsoft doesn't even support its Edge browser on Linux.

On a positive note I got my Microsoft Teams working correctly, it only took me 3 hours with little (no) help from IT. It's fixed and that's really all that matters, I'll also show them how to address it going forward.
