Hab mein neues (gebrauchtes) #Fairphone4 nun hier und will #seedvault zum ersten mal so richtig Einsetzten...
Dazu hab ich mal einen frischen USB-C Stick (SSD) hergenommen und eine Sicherung auf dem alten Handy neu angelegt, die ich gerade auf dem neuen zurück spiele...

I am using the #Fairphone4#Fairphone with /e/os from #murena and I really like it. I have a phone without Google and can install everything from the Play Store - I think.
We've tagged version 0.0.5 of gmobile (a small library for glib based mobile Linux projects).
Among other changes it adds support for the #FairPhone5's notch and updates the #FairPhone4's information. This will help #phosh to handle UI element placement for these devices automatically.

Ich bekomme /e/ auf dem Google Pixel 6a nicht zum Laufen. Nachdem das letzte Build-Image fehlerhaft war, ist nun auch das Recovery (recovery-e-1.16-t-20231018342574-dev-bluejay.img) broken. Auf mich wirkt das irgendwie stümperhaft. :think_bread:

Das #fairphone4 gibt es schließlich mit vorinstalliertem /e/ zu kaufen. Deine Erkenntnisse wären vllt. für all jene interessant, die am Kauf eines Fairphones überlegen oder sich mit dem Gedanken tragen, einen Wechsel zu /e/ durchzuführen.
