In talking with my dad* about the Israel’s attacks on Gaza and the US government’s continued support for Netanyahu, he responded, “Israel is our only reliable ally in the Middle East. We will stay loyal to them to protect our oil interests [aka: oil companies] above all else.”
That’s not to say we don’t have other interests with Israel, we do - but oil is a big one.

I would add that Israel has changed a lot. Netanyahu is a criminal and very anti-democracy and he wants #DonTheCon installed again. Bibi's good friend Kushner wants the Palestinians gone for his condos by the water. Then of course there are those priceless gas fields right off Gaza. Israel is no friend to the US now IMO.

I would regard not voting for Biden, particularly in: PA, OH, MI, WI, IN, IL,VA, GA, FL, AZ, ME, NC, NH, etc. as a huge error. I'd be disappointed to find out anyone I knew didn't vote. It's one of a long list of things we need to do. We can't skip it.
And still? We deserve better choices, and in the future we shall have them.

No. Barr was allowed to do his shady shit, but he broke "norms". I don't think that Garland's focus was on cleaning up the DOJ or FBI even though there are many saboteurs and corrupt officers. The main problem with our entire government is that prosecutions that should take 1 year take over 10 years, and they STILL can be APPEALED. What utter bullshit. Only for the the rich though. It seems we now need a special task force set up at DHS to deal with election interference by violent groups. Certainly these threats and intimidation are extremely illegal. If it has to be done at the State level, there are so many corrupt State governments that federal troops would have to come in. That would be interesting. Remember when #DonTheCon did that in Portland? His masked unmarked goons just grabbed people off the streets. So it's possible. 😀
