Only reason this happening is due to growing usage of @signalapp which ALREADY has security built in thanks to message requests, and the other user has to confirm being added to a group. Heck even the co founders left whatsapp and joined signal. #DeleteWhatsApp#SwitchToSignal
Dopo aver resistito eroicamente per quasi un anno e fino all'ultimo uomo, cioè io, all'installazione di Uozzappe (merdassoluta) sul mio smartphone, mi hanno rifilato un device aziendale con il merdone preinstallato e già settato.
Pregandomi di usarlo.
Mi sono presentato così con il primo messaggio:

E anche quelli li considero molto poco...

Non ho idea se sia stato apprezzato o meno ma questo è quanto.
Verwendet man #Whatsapp, so schließt man eine Gruppe von Menschen aus. Menschen die kein Smartphone besitzen. Menschen die kein Smartphone von Google / Apple verwenden. Sowie diejenigen, die sich mit dem Thema Meta beschäftigt haben und sich bewusst dagegen entschieden haben.
Es gibt gute Alternativen, bei denen wir diese Personen nicht ausschließen müssen.
Bei ca.. Minute 36: zumindest das #BSI engagiert sich dafür, dass die gängigen #Messenger wie #Signal, #Threema und Co. untereinander verschlüsselt Nachrichten austauschen sollen.
Wer glaubt, dass - falls sie sich auf einen Standard einigen - diese dann der sicherste von allen sein wird?
People, stop using #Meta, #Google, and other #BigTech Apps that make YOU the product!
There are already so many right-wing governments.
You compromise YOUR current or at least future security (e.g. profiling using LLMs.)
Use #Threema or #Signal instead.

We have myriad ways to stay in touch with our loved ones and meet new people without mainstream social media harvesting our data and gaming our dopamine systems for advertising dollars.
For me, the risks/cons do not outweigh the benefits/pros. Not by a long shot.
