So, before this #AI stuff, if you were like, "how do I do X in Excel" in google, you'd get a bunch of hits and then have to wade through the results to see which link was actually what you were looking for, then test out if their solution works.

Besonders geflashed hat mich dabei dieser Satz: "Ein Entwickler kann sich für seine Apps, insbesondere für Systemapps, neue #Berechtigungen ausdenken und implementieren, die nirgendwo in der regulären Einstellungen-App sichtbar werden." Und das, obwohl man uns seit gefühlt mindestens den letzten 5 Android-Hauptversionen ein immer besser werdendes App-Rechte-Management verkauft hat. Und weshalb muss man eigentlich einen Dienst wie reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org bemühen, um Anzahl & Art von #Trackern in einer Android-App zu erfahren?? - Informationen die im (angeblich so sicheren) Google-Play-Store schlicht verschwiegen werden!!
Das ist doch in Wirklichkeit alles ein riesengroßer Skandal! Wo sind hier die Datenschützer? Wann kommen die Klagen der Verbraucherschützer? Wieso kaufen die Leute weiterhin ihre Geräte ausschliesslich von diesen Datenkraken?"
My Google drive -> Nextcloud move has been going great so far. The desktop and mobile clients work very well, and the virtually unlimited storage space I have on my instance makes it awesome for syncing very large files (which I've been needing to do a lot lately)
For the folders where I needed 2 way sync in my mobile devices (neither mobile clients can do) I found that #syncthing works perfectly
So, I did transfer all my pictures to my #nextcloud instance. But could not remove them from #google photos, because it is still better for managing and sharing them, sadly. For now my #selfhosting option is just as a backup
