A question for Apple Watch users: Series 9 or Ultra? Is Ultra too big? Which one to buy? I currently have a Fitbit Sense which is 40.48mm (1.58in) and moving on to the Apple world.

Ktoś sobie postanowił, że już nie będzie planu za 30 zł i teraz 35 to stare 30, trochę więcej GB, na których i tak mi nie zależy. Pora uciekać tylko na co? I think of my #AppleWatch as an iPhone accessory. Just like how my Apple Pencil is an ipad accessory. Just like how my PS Portal is a PS5 accessory. Just like how the Steam Dock is a Steam Deck accessory. I don't see anything monopolistic in that. None of those accessories really pretend to or are built to be anything else. #Apple

For months, I've been looking for a simple "just show the numbers stored in Health, please” steps widget & complication for the Apple Watch. (Most apps insist on bringing their own steps counters or "enhancing” steps counting.) Tried all the usual suspects, they all did too much.
Usually, when I go for a walk, I take my #iPhone and listen to podcasts; however, when I can’t/don’t bring my phone, it’s frickin’ great to have the ability to play podcasts from my #AppleWatch
Switching to a Garmin after five years with the Apple Watch, I’m fully convinced that touch-enabled LCD screens were one of the stupidest things one could put on a wearable. Not only are they clunky and leave fingerprints all over the place (especially, during a sweaty run), they are brutally inefficient when it comes to battery life.
I don’t know much about the tech behind Garmin’s screens, but it’s the closest to having an e-ink watch I can think of.
Looks like #1Password fixed a medium-term bug re: frequent inability to 'see' biometric unlock options (eg, #AppleWatch). Nice! Sometimes things /do/ get better instead of worse 🙃
It’s funny how I usually try to avoid exposing my #AppleWatch to sunlight because it affects its legibility, forces its screen to be brighter and burns through the battery as a result, yet I do exactly the opposite with my Citizen #watch because light makes it more legible and charges its battery and its lumen. Another noteworthy feature is that it stops moving its seconds hand when in the dark for extended period of time to save battery and resumes with the correct time when back in the light 😁
Today I tried to repair a piece of technology and for the first time I utterly destroyed it while doing so. Not a great feeling 😞 , but damn these Apple watches are delicate… #applewatch#repairability#ifixit
I am not sure why, but it seems major carriers are having issues right now across the United States 🇺🇸. I thought it was an #iPhone issue after #Apple updated me to the latest beta, but my #iPad & #AppleWatch were having issues too.
I also thought it was the beta updates, but apparently people across the country are being affected when I checked #X / #Twitter.
An alle #IOS Geeks… wie stellt man bei der #AppleWatch das „Now Playing“/„Läuft jetzt“ ab? I inherited an Apple Watch Series 5 from my mother-in-law, however the battery health is at 69% (not so nice!).
I can go down the official route of an Apple “Repair”, but from what I can see online, instead of replacing the battery, they’ll just replace the whole thing with a refurbished one. This one is in pretty good condition and I don’t want to risk getting one in a worse state, and it also costs £80.
find ich ja sportlich das viele user anscheinend noch nach ner weile mit der #applewatch akkulaufzeit zufrieden sind ... grad kontrolle geschaut ... 17% – hätte die bei schlafenszeit gesagt, okey von miraus* aber ich lade geräte normal bei 25-30% tsss....
immerhin hab gelesen man kann sich da evtl ne automatisierung basteln (anders als bei der fenix halte ich einen indikator hier für platzverschwendung)
*ab einer gewissen uhrzeit hab ich auch keinen bock mehr auf ne ladeaufforderung
