Wkrótce premiera #watchOS 10 i trochę się jej obawiam. Zmienia się sposób otwierania centrum sterowania z przeciągnięcia palcem na kliknięcie przycisku, którego nie umiem nacisnąć. Zawsze używałem sztuczki z otwieraniem i zamykaniem latarki, żeby wracać do tarczy, a skróty do ulubionych aplikacji miałem na kilku tarczach. Teraz nie będę mógł otwierać latarki.

Apple no longer letting you swipe between watch faces appears to be a misstep. Loads of people complaining about it. No surprise when Apple for years advocated different faces for specific scenarios – some of which you might need only briefly. But Apple must have data on this. So: vocal minority or Apple being opinionated and saying it knows best?
That’s it. Packed up the #AppleTV for the last time. What finally did it for me was the #Netflix app not correctly detecting streaming bandwidth and increasing resolution. And it’s done this before. Play a show, it pixelates like I’m streaming over a 300bps modem, which is sometimes normal with apps until they detect that you in fact have an #AX5400 with #wifi6 and #beamforming and the quality increases. NF app quality didn’t increase. Quit out of the app (I HATE that you can only endtask on the ATV with its own remote and ONLY with swiping turned on, which I don’t have by default because it causes misfires when clicking), start NF app again, same shit stream quality. Back to #FireStick, quality perfect.
Jesus Apple. How do you get things so right (#iPhone, #iPad) and yet so miserably wrong (AppleTV, #AppleWatch and #MacOS - yeah y’all heard me!) almost dead-on 50% of the time either way?
Just as fascinating: that people don’t even realize how much better the alternatives are. 😵💫🤷🏻♂️
The Apple Watch seems more popular than ever, why are Watch Apps disappearing?
More and more apps are losing their Watch Apps when they are updated. The new #vw App comes without watch app, and the "DB Next Navigator“ by #deutschebahn is lacking it as well. And these are only two examples.
Apple is making it a lot easier to create Watch Apps. Does anyone care to check if these are now React or Flutter Apps, which can't take advantage of the shared technology?
I’ve got a three year old Fitbit and I’m thinking of replacing it and wondering if I should get an Apple Watch. I mainly care about step counting (I walk about 6 miles per day).
I don’t care too much about fancy features, and I probably trust Apple more than Google at this point.
The possibility of #usb-c coming to the new #iPhone along with some IMO very questionable design decisions in the #Android world have me considering for the first time in my life to get an iPhone for myself. 🤔
Then I remember that the #AppleWatch is the only #smartwatch option on iOS and there’s absolutely no way I’m going to strap a rectangle to my wrist. 😅 I really wish there was a circular one…
Drei Jahre nach dem Kauf, ist meine #AppleWatch Serie 6 nun bei einer Batteriestandzeit von etwas unter 24 Stunden angekommen. Anfangs hat sie einen halben Tag länger gehalten. Man fragt sich natürlich schon, ob sich eine Investition lohnt, deren Technik relativ schnell altert. Bei Computern sind wir das lange gewohnt, bei Wearables, speziell einer Uhr, ist das noch Gewöhnungsbedürftig, zumindest für mich. 🤔 #wwdc2013
A stupid question to #blind#AppleWatch users. Is there a way to know time really silently? I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 1st generation, and although it has a mode where it conveys time with haptic feedback, most of the cases it unlocks the screen and starts talking. So is there a way to make it show the time without pronouncing a single word? Thanks!
A question for Apple Watch users: Series 9 or Ultra? Is Ultra too big? Which one to buy? I currently have a Fitbit Sense which is 40.48mm (1.58in) and moving on to the Apple world.

I just realized that the AoD on my Apple Watch Series 9 is flickering when the timer complication is running. It’s most visible in the battery indicator.
What I wouldn't give for this watch face to be a scaled down version of Modular Ultra. 😞
Switched from iMessage to Telegram again because iMessage often feels sluggish and only my wife and I were left there.
Now I realized there's no app for the Apple Watch? What the heck? When did this happen? In used it very often back then. Why is it gone? That's a huge bummer and makes Telegram much less useful.

I inherited an Apple Watch Series 5 from my mother-in-law, however the battery health is at 69% (not so nice!).
I can go down the official route of an Apple “Repair”, but from what I can see online, instead of replacing the battery, they’ll just replace the whole thing with a refurbished one. This one is in pretty good condition and I don’t want to risk getting one in a worse state, and it also costs £80.
Thursday: I seem to have hit some kind of plank plateau. 🤷🏻 Will keep trying. Forty pushups in during warm-up, 10km of #running, and then picked up groceries.
I don't like the WatchOS 10 changes to Activity; less info on screen than before. I'll get get used to it, I suppose. 🤷🏻 #AppleWatch
