But what about the many artists, writers/authors, and creators whose copyrighted works OpenAI stole to create works resembling and replacing those people's products? Not famous enough to generate the same outrage, right? At least now, everyone knows how bad Sam Altman is. He thinks he is above the law. I'm glad someone is standing up to this bully and I hope something good come out of it.

Paramount kept their staff on hand to handle stressful conditions, surely kept lots of folks on-call to ensure the Superbowl could be streamed on their service, had record viewership numbers and then immediately laid off 800 of the people who helped give them that success the next day so that the executive leadership could pocket all the profits without sharing it with the labor force who built it.

This is crazy. Over 6 years, popular YouTuber "Warthog Defense" built a pro-Ukrainian YouTube channel with 630,000 subscribers, and over night YouTube incorrectly deleted his channel for impersonation.

There is no trial, no appeal options, nothing — just an entire content creator career flushed down the drain, because the algorithm says so.

Israel is angry with the UN Secretary-General but after re-reading his speech i don't understand why. He condemns Hamas clearly but also at the same time says "And those appalling attacks cannot justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people." , very true, but apparently right-wing Israel wants to frame him as a Hamas supporter which he is clearly not.
