@RickiTarr We just returned from a month of walking through Italy - we try to do that every year for 4-6 weeks (yes, we have time and means), covering 15-25km per day, seeing hardly any people, nothing but panoramas the whole day, arriving in time for aperitivo, eating like Tuscan farmers, early to bed. After maybe a week a sort of pilgrim’s mood sets in, the steepest climbs are effortless, getting up early becomes easy. I hope to do this for many years to come

I was excited to read this study until I got to the sample...all men. So while the headline generalizes the findings, they actually have no idea about how exercise changes saturated fat metabolism in women because they did not study women. When reading studies, always look at the sample. Even today women are being excluded from health studies.

Russian state media continue to push the explanation that the arrested terrorists did it for money. Apparently, the salary for becoming a mass murderer was USD 5400.
They don't mention ISIS with a single word.

On a sidenote, it has always puzzled me that Russians in uniform so often wear masks on TV even in situations where it makes no operational sense. Are they not proud to be associated with their service?
