shirts are also coming out well so far. Every time I see a little imperfection I gotta remind myself they're handmade, they'll have flaws, they're handmade...
If anyone is interested in shirts, I plan to do a round 2 for them at some point, so dm and I'll get ya on that list!
#WritingWonders Day 14 MC POV: Have you ever broken anyone’s heart?
Isis - Trinity - Just the once. He wasn’t my boyfriend though. He was going out with my best friend, Sabrina, and after she… died… he was distraught. Which just made the whole thing worse. I never meant for it to happen. And seeing him completely losing it… it was just one more reason why I had to turn away from witchcraft.
#writers Are there any recurring themes in your work?
I’m revising an old #wip between drafts of Trinity, and while it’s a complete different genre to Trinity, Badlands and Bleak Waters, it shares themes of families at war and outsiders trying to find their place in the world.
Oh snap, it's #WIPWednesday! Every time I see it go by, I either think "man I wish I had a #WIP to share" or "I should share something from my WIP" and then never do, so today I'm going to!
I'm making a new cover for our awning.
The old awning was down for a couple of years because we insulated the building and now it's going back up. Its a south facing roof terrace and the sun is brutally hitting on the floor inside - even behind triple glazed windows.
The new fabric is called 'soltis' and semipermeable. which means we can leave it open in the rain and there will still be light left inside.
#WritingWonders Day 16. Is your MC good at relationships in general.
Isis is guarded in most relationships since the break up of her marriage. She used to throw herself into relationships and seek approval from the people she wanted to be like, but the divorce and subsequent loss of her home and job has robbed her of trust. That she’s forever hiding her true self doesn’t help matters.
A long overdue update on my very first sweater #wip
I added dark red and light green stripes in between the persimmon and brass to give that section the contrast it was missing - you can see the comparison of the before and after in the second pic.
I just gotta finish the second sleeve, then I can work on the yoke!
