Been thinking about a comic I could make to explain how I feel trapped when the fatigue takes hold. The two chains would go "Keep a proper sleep schedule or your mental health will suffer" and the other to "Listen to your body and rest when you need to".

Don't know if I'll ever get around to finishing it. But at least I drew this much. <3

Sketched out a new embroidery design idea tonight before bed. A very stereotypical wildflower design, but it should still be fun to do. :)

  2. The finished traced design.

  3. Transferred to my working hoop, which holds the fabric tighter than the wooden ones.

So I am a convert to leather thimbles, especially the ones by Clover. SO comfy! :D Unfortunately, they wear out pretty quickly, so I ordered a second one, and… yeah. There are some quality issues here. :\

Left was my first thimble, the right is the new one; same size, S. Visibly smaller, and is much harder to get on my finger. Also the quality of the leather stamping isn't as nice.

A bit disappointed, but you live and learn!

So today my S.O. finally took me to my Christmas present, which he'd been keeping a secret all this time.

It was 2.5 hours wheel throwing at a pottery studio. I was SO HAPPY.

I haven't thrown on a wheel in… gosh… ten years. But it came back to me, like riding a bike. :da_love:

Unfortunately, now I'm exhausted and sore and achey, but so so happy, and my heart is so full. :blobhug2:

Remember when I went wheel throwing for the first time in 10 years back in March? Well we finally picked up my finished pot!

I'm in love with it. :D I'm so glad I hadn't lost all of my wheel throwing knowledge and was able to make something this cute. <3
